Matches brand name

I've had a well known brand of bone conduction headphones (see 2 photos for comparison) for a number of years and they eventually stopped accepting a charge. Since I needed to replace them, I opted for the cheaper option (especially with a coupon). I first tried the even cheaper Moing headphones which are more flexible (see 2 photos for comparison). I am very happy with the ones I use when working alone on renovation projects. I don't like headphones because I can't hear the surrounding noise. The downside is that I have to pause with a loud saw, but the benefits of being able to hear other people/sounds are far more important. Because of this type of usage, I'm pretty harsh with this kind of headphones, so I don't feel bad about the problems I've had with brand name headphones after 3-4 years of use. As for this item, I think it fits the brand name quite well. Sitting upside down in your normal listening position, at medium volume, those around you will hear very little additional noise. Of course, the higher the volume, the more additional sounds others can hear. This also applies to the big brands that I replace. This feature works so well on them that my wife took them to listen to audiobooks and podcasts while she pumped our baby. Many typical headphones have enough excess sound to distract a child, but not these! The charging method (see photo) seems pretty good for this model, with a magnetic charging cable. The only minor downside is the lack of a backup cable like most have, with all those extra USB-C or micro-USB cables for the various devices we all have. A much bigger plus is that there is no small opening for dust and/or a broken cable to get in. They're certainly better overall when compared head-to-head with Moing's other cheaper and more flexible earbuds, but depending on your use, it might not be worth the extra money. The more flexible earbuds act as two small speakers next to your ears, so there's a decent excess of sound even at moderate volume levels. For me alone working on projects it doesn't matter at all and even helps because they can be a bit louder than others which is usually loud enough to drown out the sound of a drill. For uses like rocking a baby or sitting next to others in an office situation, it would be better to spend more for these true bone conduction headphones.
