I've owned about 5 kettles over the past 20 years, including this one from TopWit. This is my first glass teapot. I like the physical design of the teapot. It has a wide opening with a fully open lid big enough to slip your hand in for cleaning, and overall the build feels surprisingly solid. Minutes boil 1.2 - 1.5 liters. As others have pointed out, this kettle also has a slight burning/electricity smell which thankfully doesn't ruin the taste of the water. It's probably coming from the heating element itself and exiting through the handle because when you open it you can smell it around the lid but not inside the kettle itself. I'm still hoping the smell will lessen over time. It's quite thin, but more than I'm used to from a product like this. No peeling issues that others have mentioned. Quite a lot of lime builds up. But it helps that you can see it and clean it easily to improve heat transfer.
