The hooks are great. Screws are garbage.
Every screw is removed. Luckily I had others that were stronger and the J hooks were great. Proper placement will keep your kayak without bungee cords needed for extra support. One of my kayaks needed bungees for stabilization due to a lack of wall walling, but that's a pretty minor inconvenience.
