Great price for a lens that performs well. I bought it for some projects where I want to be "old school" in my approach to objects. The bokeh is pleasing thanks to the 12 aperture blades, which also leads to stellar effects even with some light sources in the picture at f4. The images are surprisingly sharp and rich in contrast for such a cheap lens. Not the premium sharpness of a lens, but it still has a "look" that sets it apart from my premium glass. It focuses quickly and smoothly. The clickless aperture is not only a plus for videos, but also allows me to set automatic ISO values with the aperture ring. It's well made, but there's one small thing: a marking ring to align the aperture with the focus/depth-of-field scale. a little. Without this shortcoming I would give the lens 5 stars.
