I never got mine to work.
I was so upset when I finally found the time to replace the screen on my old 9.7 inch iPad, even after reading the disassembly many times, the person who put the manual together said not warned or made any great suggestions What is the best way to remove the broken screen (which collapses when trying to remove it) to replace it? My hands were still slippery when it came time to press the home button to solve, and I went through the home button connector. Band </3 I bought it to replace it. I couldn't get this button to work with the iPad at all. I haven't decided yet if I want to try again or just leave it (it's used as a camera monitor now).
