Perfect for exhaust and emissions
I read somewhere on here that it's three inches shorter? Yes, it should go from the side of the tank onto the tank strap. Not outside. That's the only reason I can remember someone saying it was too short to reach the fuel hose. For me it's perfect! Everything is coordinated and easy to assemble.
