I have only had this product for a relatively short time. I bought this to replace a 10 year old Panasonic Plasma TV. Panasonic is fine, I wanted a big screen smart TV. I connected everything, turned it on and immediately proceeded with the settings. There was very little information in the attached documents and practically the same on the internet. Luckily my grandson helped out and had to call LG to answer our questions. By the way, LG was very helpful. After everything was done, I taped the show, sitting on my flushing funnel and was immediately unimpressed. The image seemed to have no depth. The colors were fantastic, but I felt the picture itself wasn't as sharp as I expected. In other words, he looked pretty flat. A bit like watching a video recorded digitally versus celluloid. The screen also appeared to be more reflective. I even thought about returning it and going back to my old Panasonic but I've already promised to give it back to my youngest grandson. So I adjusted the settings as best I could and got confused. Now that I've had the chance to check it out, I'm starting to like it even more. I think the problem was that I was used to seeing my old Panasonic and got used to it. It's like changing cars or changing girlfriends, it's just not the same. But give it time and it will work out for the better. With hope. The only major problem regarding the picture is the brightness adjustment. I was watching an episode of Elementary the other day and all of the interior shots seemed too dark to me, but when I adjusted the brightness setting the exterior shots were too bright. Another problem with getting used to it. Like I said, I'm getting more and more used to the new image and really starting to like it. If I went back to my old Panasonic plasma at this point, I'd probably be disappointed. The Magic Remote is pretty fancy, but it doesn't replace all of my other gadgets. Mike's Blu-ray player still needs its own remote control, as does Roku. But I can probably do without Roku entirely and only use the Blu-ray player for films. LG has most of the apps I use on these two devices, so that's a plus for convenience. In terms of sound, I gifted my soundbar to another grandson as everyone said it wasn't necessary with the superior sound of this TV. I won't try to review the audio part as I very rarely use it as the sound is transmitted to my hearing aids and thus completely ignores the audio part. However, I asked others if the sound was acceptable and they said yes. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, time will tell. Physically it feels premium and has all the features I could ever want;
