Update 1 year after purchase: Rear wheel bearing failed. So strong it burned the axle. I asked LBS to replace the bearing and ICAN refunded me $35. After replacing the bearings, the wheel still didn't work properly and needed a new hub. It's almost impossible to find a Novatec hub when you contact ICAN about the hub. They said it was a consumable item and not covered by the 2 year warranty. —Original Message——The wheels are lightweight and make my bike look more professional. . The steering is different from the elite aluminum wheels on my previous Mavic Ksryium. I felt a little more boost from the win. I installed GP4000 and GP5000 with tubes. It took me several hours to mount the GP4000 to the front wheel and tape the three tubes to the rim tape that was provided. The rim tape is rounded to create a sharp edge. If your tubes aren't exactly in the center of the rim tape, it will cut off the inner tube. I ended up using my own rim tape for both wheels. The GP5000 was hard to come by, but I was able to install it without any tools or my street buddy :). Update: Just driving on a road that is usually pretty bumpy, the wider rims making the tires wider made the ride feel more comfortable. updated 9/10. Tried new tires and it seems like the front wheel is bigger than the rear wheel. I have two front tire flats and if there was no other cyclist around I would call someone to pick me up. I like wheels as long as they have air in them, but when I have to change tires it's impossible.
