Description of Continental ContiSportContact 5 215/50 R17 95W summer

The Continental ContiSportContactTM 5 is a high performance tire with outstanding handling. Excellent traction and handling along with cornering safety. Shorter stopping distance in all weather conditions. The reduced fuel consumption and increased mileage of the Continental ContiSportContact 5 is that it is a highly specialized product, the characteristics of which are "sharpened" for certain operating conditions. The model is designed for use on SUVs and crossovers that almost never leave paved roads. To a large extent, the sporty handling of this tire is provided by the design of the shoulder...

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

The driving experience is simply amazing. Mondeo IV - a toad-ship, it would seem, but on these tires I get great pleasure from driving. My tires 215-50 R17 91V are made in Germany - the last German batch: now, it seems like, all sizes up to R17 inclusive - are made in Hong Kong.

Pros
  • Amazing tire - excellent road holding, excellent handling - it rulitsya just superb! And how it slows down is just something incredible. Firm grip in the rain or just on wet roads. Since rubber has a "sporty" character, it is strange to expect noiselessness or special premium comfort from it - if you want unconditional comfort, then take ContiPremiumContact. The same tire will hold the road perfectly, excellent, just phenomenal braking in dry and wet, and you will never get whistle from it in corners. Some write about rigidity - I wouldn’t call it rigid, it’s quite a civilian sport. Again - if you want comfort and softness - do not take sports-civilian tires, their goal is active driving, precise steering and precise braking (even in urban conditions), but not a premium soft-comfortable ride; for how this Kontik behaves on the road, you have to pay a little more noise and a little more rigidity. But in my opinion, it's worth it. And I repeat - I would not call it tough (you sit down on bridge adrenaline)))
Cons
  • These are not entirely disadvantages: it is noisy up to temperatures of 17-18 degrees, as it is warmer - it does not make much noise more than competitors. You also need to be careful when using at temperatures below 6-7 degrees (you can feel it by changing your shoes early) - it starts to tan and the colder it is, the more it tans, which, in principle, is logical - this is not an all-weather mixture, but a summer tire, which reveals itself only at stable spring positive temperatures and above. And about noise - very much depends on a covering. Good asphalt - no complaints. Asphalt is worse or variegated - yes, it will make more noise.

Has some pros: It's too early to appreciate it, less than a month of operation. But! First impressions are very good. Handling on dry and, most importantly, wet surfaces is very good! I will add a review by the end of the season, then there will be more experience. Its cons: To the touch, the sidewall of the tire is very soft compared to many other manufacturers. Let's see how this will affect the strength of the sidewall during operation.

Tires 225/45 R17 were purchased in the spring of 2022. The most important criteria for me were grip and cost, and for the price this is one of the best options. Let it be a little noisy, but it keeps the road perfectly both in dry weather and in the rain, which this year has already saved from undesirable consequences. So I'm happy with the tires.

Pros
  • road grip
Cons
  • A bit noisy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The right product for me, the price suited me.

Ordinary rubber. If its cost was at the level of the Koreans, in principle, I would not say anything bad about it. But at a price of more than 12 thousand. Expect more for a tire.

Pros
  • Handling is good. Tenacity in turns suits, ABS did not work even once. Quiet enough at speeds up to 80 km / h on any surface.
Cons
  • At speeds over 80 km / h, it starts to make noise even on good asphalt. I have an executive car with very good sound insulation, tire size 245*50*18. Rubber noise. Previously, there were Kumho and Hankook tires, it made noticeably less noise. In terms of wear resistance, there is a feeling that it will be quickly erased, because. soft rubber. In some places, on the extreme lamellae, stones vomited small pieces after a run of 1500 km.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

I bought in April 225/45/17, Nissan Skyline 250 hp. I drive mostly in the city, sometimes on the highway, on wet pavement it slips into slippage, if you don’t press the accelerator to the floor, it doesn’t aim badly, on dry things it’s better. It keeps confidently in corners, brakes well both in dry and wet conditions, I never bothered about noise. Before Kontik, I drove a FEDERAL 595, it feels much better on the road, the grip is good. Satisfied with the tires overall.

Pros
  • Good brakes on dry and wet pavement.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

I have a Continental ContiSportContact 5 225/40 R18 92Y summer tire mounted on the sedan version of my Audi A3, and I think it's great. My entire life, I have driven a summer Continental, and prior to that, the summer tire on my previous car was a summer PremiumContact radius 16. I have never even considered switching to a different brand of tire.

Pros
  • Good handling. Maintains a consistent and comfortable pace. In asphalt, rails and flaws are practically impossible to discern.
Cons
  • Because rubber can easily puncture, you need to watch out for potholes and curbs.

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I went to the tire center and bought some wheels there Exclusive for opticians 15. Service for five or more people, comparable to the competent speed of the formula one staff on top. I strongly suggest it to everyone!

Pros
  • On the ring, it is just impractical at 160, as it stands stuck to the spot. While the grip is superb, especially in the wet, it does not move at all. Both the pricing and the quality are really competitive.
Cons
  • Noisy

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not quite what I wanted, but mostly okay.

I don't drive fearfully in potassium, but wet asphalt is like driving on ice, and speeds of more than 60-80 mph send me careening all over the road.

Pros
  • Just don't know
Cons
  • Tires should cost twice as much as they do ($5,500 for Michelin 8s and $7,000 for Goodyear 7s) because they are prone to hydroplaning when it rains.

Was acquired in May 2022 for a Toyota Highlander with tire dimensions of 235/55 R19. The maneuverability and handling are superb, regardless of whether the roads are dry or wet. These seem to be the best tires available to me.

Pros
  • ...swallows minor potholes on highways without making noise or vibration;...quiet, pleasant, and soft;...excellent handling;...excellent grip on wet and slippery surfaces
Cons
  • No deficiencies identified thus far

A Kia seed car has tires with the dimensions 225/45 r17 mounted on it. A little over a month ago, the automobile was outfitted with its new tires. During use, solely brought about pleasant feelings and a feeling of safety.

Pros
  • Tire that is both quiet and comfortable to ride on, and offers superior stability and braking performance, whether on dry and wet road surfaces.
Cons
  • Not detected

The right product for me, there were no problems.

The tires were specifically tested in the rain, and I was quite delighted. It is very difficult to skid the wheels in dry weather. The guard is delicate to the touch, so I'm hoping that it won't be quickly erased. Never been let down by this brand.

Pros
  • outstanding grip,
Cons
  • If only the cost were lower.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

Overall impressions of the tire are very good. soft, comfortable. The road keeps just super, tested at high speeds and in the rain. I recommend.

Pros
  • handling, removes water from the contact patch to 5+, excellent road holding.
Cons
  • In my opinion, not a lot of shunovata, but not critical.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

Saab 9-3 265 forces on the face. everything is super, but for 2 months it was completely erased kapets. I didn’t burn, I didn’t , I didn’t go to the track and anyway she’s a khan . well, at least the 17th radius is not a scribe turned out to be expensive . Different pros: Taxiing, comfortable, in the limiting modes while doing well. Soft. Has some cons: Wear resistance is absent. The muzzle was erased for 11000 km in a slick. Year in 2022 was better. disgusting now

Disgusting, I don't recommend it to anyone!

I've been driving it for three years, and while I was satisfied with it for the first 2.5 years, even with the wear and tear, I think that three bumps in a half year is too much. Since I have already paid for two more wheels, I believe it is likely that I will decline and move to another rubber instead. I don't understand how you can rate after rolling back a couple of months, which results in us getting an incorrect wheel rating; but, in order to remedy it in some way, I put a stake in place…

Pros
  • The advantage of having a cool puncture tightening function and a good hold on the road is where the positives stop.
Cons
  • tires 235/45 R18 contisportcontakt 5. At the run number of 40000, I already needed to buy two new wheels because of how fast they wear out. You could still drive them, but only a little, and the wear marks were already in the vicinity. Prior to that, regardless of how much I worked in the same manner on other brands, there was sufficient rubber for a run of 80,000 to 90,000. After forty thousand, there are already two wheels with imperfections. Another one got away from me today on the third wheel for ten thousand miles, and I skated for half a year to get it. Yes, a little opening will be supplied between 50 and 60 kilometers per hour (. The Michelin winter tire makes the same racket as the summer Michelin, yet this is the summer.

The size of my tires is 225/45R17. Automobile KIA Cee'd JD (2022) The rubber is excellent quality, by the way. Drivers who enjoy a variety of styles in all conditions have my recommendation. After the Shumkov arches, I was able to muffle some of the exterior and interior noise. Rubber's excellent cornering grip holds up in wet and dry conditions. It's as though you're riding on a set of tracks. Good resistance to rutting - Does not whistle when making hard curves at high speed - Remarkable…

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

You also won't be able to sit on Jacob when you're chowing down on a fish. You are required to make a decision between a resource and a holder and security. Rubber is not an appropriate material for senior citizens or taxi drivers. Excellent selection for g-racers and street racers alike. After four months of nonstop violence and pleasure caused by dense rubber. I bought a bu from Finns and then sold wheels that had the same amount of wear and tear as the ones I bought them with. I drove…

Pros
  • Rubber that can overlook an error while simultaneously protecting a life. Excellent traction, does not get buoyant in wet conditions, and significantly improves the effectiveness of braking.
Cons
  • No results found

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Exclusive-spb was the retailer from which I recently purchased a Continental ContiSportContact5 kit. I drive a VW Jetta, size 225/45/17. Rubber performs admirably regardless of the temperature or environment it is exposed to, whether it be sweltering heat or pouring rain. Although I drive in a dynamic manner, it is said that I do not expose the full capability of rubber until the very end. The vehicle enters turns without moving an inch, both in the rutting and in the pits that are present on…

Pros
  • handling, handling despite the rain on the highways
Cons
  • It is not the case.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Front-wheel drive, 180 horsepower Skoda octavia 1.8T A7 2022 They have 225/40/18 tires. I prefer to make quick corners while driving quite vigorously. When the edge of the gripping characteristics comes, the behavior of the car is well anticipated and felt. I once slammed into a hole at around 60 km/h. The tires are fine, however I slightly damaged the rims. Noisy is rubber. than any I've ever rode in terms of noise. Hankook evo 2 k 120, Contisportcontact 3, and Potenza S001. I consistently…

Pros
  • Excellent traction on the ground in all weather. robust sidewall. a good fringe.
Cons
  • Noisy. Balancing is frequently lost.
