I bought this blender because my husband managed to blow up the engine on our Hamilton Beach. Before attempting to mix up a VERY thick batch of cookies, this was great. This one can handle a thicker batch but really only seems to have one setting. Turbo. While the performance is great for the times you need it, it will ruin your day by spraying powder and batter all over the place when you're not. It looks great and I really like the usefulness of the attachment holder. Again, it really just depends on the starting point. What good is electricity if there is only one setting?
