Review on Women'S ABR Pro Cargo Pant FlexLite Stretch Ripstop Comfort Waist 5.11 Tactical 64445 by Mario Hinton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pockets, pockets, pockets!

My husband is a huge fan of 5-11 cargo pants, but I never thought they'd be a good look for me - I carry my weight in my thighs and backside, and my experience has been that most outdoor wear for women is cut slim. These pants, though, have a bit of stretch in the ripstop fabric, and they're roomy enough through the seat and thighs that I can squat, bend and move around easily. This is important since I plan to use them for gardening. I got them in a 14 Long, and at 5'6" they're a bit long on me. No matter; I'll just cuff them up or stuff them into my gardening boots. The thing I love most, though, is all the POCKETS. So many pockets! The pants are designed for first responders, but for gardeners, those pockets are good for seed packets, plant markers, twine, etc. There's even a place to sling a hand tool, and a pocket for your cell phone. There's a bit of padding in the knees and seat, too. The pants are sturdy without being heavy, which I'll appreciate in warmer weather.

Cons
  • The pants may be too casual for some workplaces or occasions
