Review on Apple 32 Inch Pro Display Retina 60 with USB Hub, Ultrawide Screen, Adaptive Sync, and Height Adjustment by Brandon Traphagan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Incredible quality, standard glass is sharper than nano-texture

Apart from the price, this monitor is very convincing. I've looked at both standard glass and nano-texture, and standard glass is *much* sharper for text and everyday use. With nanotexture, text looks a bit blurry and white backgrounds look slightly grainy, so I think that would be a no-no - don't use nanotexture unless you really care about reflections! The standard glass is clear and pristine, just like the screen of a Macbook Pro or iPhone. I am using this monitor with a 2019 MacBook Pro running Windows via Bootcamp. Concerned about adjusting brightness in Windows, but actually Bootcamp offers a slider for display brightness. If you enable HDR, you need to adjust this via Windows HD Color Settings -> HDR/SDR Brightness Balance. HDR YouTube videos look incredible as you can see sunlight, reflections and colors as vivid as ever on a regular monitor. The monitor comes with a soft, high-quality Power + Thunderbolt cable that charges your MacBook Pro while you use it, which is a nice touch.
