Review on Apple 32 Inch Pro Display Retina 60 with USB Hub, Ultrawide Screen, Adaptive Sync, and Height Adjustment by David Hamberger

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Update: kept standard, returned nano (poor bloom). One angle fixed dimming, rear USBc with speed limit

Update: Much better with standard glass. Some smoldering and viewing angle blocking remain, but it's ok, the reflection isn't bad by the standard. Photos at 50% and 100% brightness, from 3 different angles to show the darkening. If I move my head 10 inches left and right, 2/3 of the screen is definitely brighter, which follows my head when I'm looking straight at you, but again, I'm fine with everything else. Used 2 Nanotexture xdrs for a week. UI/graphics developer. Chic fit, but exchanged for normal glass. Aside from those trying to use it on the beach with insanely bright backlighting, I can't imagine who the nanotexture is for - maybe stage use? I opted for an anti-reflective coating due to the sunny room, but prefer the standard glassy sheen of my mbp to the nano-texture spread. his lightning bolt. And still charges well when you connect 2 xdrs. - No, the brightness keys on your keyboard do not work as intended. You can use Shift + Option + F1 to change the brightness of the other screen, but it seems to switch randomly. Look for an app called MonitorControl that maps your brightness buttons to the screen your mouse is on. Apple, imagine that. Yes, you can control each brightness in the Mac menu bar widget in Control Center. Rear USB-C ports are severely limited to <200Mbps (for comparison, the USB-C specification is 10,000Mbps). So a 4k webcam or a USB-C Gigabit Ethernet port is severely speed limited. Yes you can run 2 of these on an older MacBook Pro (2019) but not on the same side. Run one cable on the left and the other on the right. While we wait for standard glass xdrs and m1 Macs to try a side, let's see if they've finally ditched the Thunderbolt bus. - Monitor mount/stand is too much for Ergotron LX, had to upgrade to Ergotron HX to hold it. - Yes, you can feel the performance on my old, fully charged 2019 MacBook Pro, but mainly when playing videos/animations. For the average UI/graphic light video developer, I don't mind the performance.
