I received a Kaleurrier salon chair on wheels (black with backrest) for an eyelash extension artist. The seat is not particularly large at around 13 inches. If I were looking for a stool for the house I would probably want something bigger. But in a cabin with things to move, I think it's smaller and more maneuverable. better. Before seeing it in person, I was concerned about the base, but it's chrome, not metal. If it was chromed plastic for example, I would be concerned that the stool would tilt/tilt too easily. Assembly is pretty easy. The backrest bracket is attached to the seat with 4 screws. Everything else is pressed in - the gas cylinder into the base and the gas cylinder into the underside of the seat. While I wish a set screw was something to secure everything, it's not really necessary. As far as how the stool works, the wheels spin freely and the height adjustment works well. The upholstery is fairly firm and the backrest is not adjustable. would recommend.
