(Four stars because the table is so good. The instructions are a nightmare.) I'm a veteran furniture maker and this has been one of my worst experiences in recent memory. First the good: The table looks great (I have a "rustic" finish) and feels solid. When assembled it is a delight. Montage is a different story. First, have your own set of allen wrenches: I've seen the wrench shear a bolt, but this was the first time I've tried shearing a bolt off the head of an allen wrench that comes with the kit. Second, read the instructions VERY carefully: many of the parts are almost symmetrical but have a "top" or "bottom" without any indication of direction. My package was missing one of the required screws (but there were three extra screws), so I was fortunate to have a spare on hand. And be sure to read the instructions to the end before you start, because at least one part (identified by the letter "M") is not explicitly marked in the instructions. The build was basically a "two steps forward, one step back" process. Slightly better instructions would have made this product much better.
