I bought two of these cables based on the rave reviews and I am generally happy with Revain Basics products. That was my worst experience. These cables do the job as long as you don't touch them. Even the slightest pressure breaks the connection. I bought one for the car and one for the office. When I'm in the car using my phone to get directions or listen to music, if my phone moves while turning or braking, it disconnects from the car and stops my music and directions. Sometimes I just have to press the "Phone" button on the car's console to turn it back on, but most of the time I have to unplug and plug it back in to get it working again. In the office I can't even pick up the phone without losing the connection. I even tried using my phone without picking it up, just by pressing the screen, and even moving away from it would sometimes drop the connection. Yes, iPhone, I "trust" the computer you just connected to for the fiftieth time. Yes, Windows, I know the device has been connected or disconnected for the hundredth time. These are minor issues, but they are annoying and shouldn't happen. I need to be able to use or move my phone while it's charging without disconnecting. If this only happens to one of the cables, I could attribute it to a faulty cable, but it was both of them, which tells me it's probably not uncommon. Use them to charge before bed and do not use the phone in any way while connected to these cables. They are alright. Otherwise, just treat yourself to good cables to avoid headaches and hassles.
