Review on 🧺 Ecru Brabantia Thick Foam & Felt Padding Ironing Board Cover, Size C (49 x 18 in) by Dragan Nelson

I have been using a Brabantia ironing board for over a decade. I liked it so much that I bought one of these expensive ironing boards for each of my daughters. From time to time I would order and replace expensive felt pads and expensive ironing board covers. In the past I have sometimes waited many months patiently for my orders to be fulfilled and shipped. Due to backorders or long lead times, I have ordered from different sites hoping for faster shipping. I always took the color ecru. So far it hasn't been difficult. I ordered 2 covers and 2 felt inserts - one to replace the current cover and one to keep on hand. Neither case fits. And it's not that I haven't done this on and off for my Brabantia ironing board and my daughters' boards over the last few years. It's too late to return them, but it's not too late to tell you that the quality of the Brabantia ironing board cover is gone. The fabric feels thinner and thinner than my old one and neither cover fits around the edges of my ironing board because they were both cut incorrectly for the back of the board. I don't waste time replacing the cover and felt padding or wasting that amount of money TWICE on the cover. I've been thinking about ordering a universal case from Brabantia; However, it only comes in metal and I don't want to risk it being inferior and not fitting for some reason. I am very disappointed.
