Review on 🔑 Aluminum Alloy Mechanical Keyboard Keycap Opener for Gateron Cherry MX Switches - Effortless Metal Switch Glide by Chad Rosier

I bought this to replace the Gat ink spring/stem pair. It opened normally, although initially it was difficult to pull it out of the opener. I found a trick for this, so no big deal. However, the problem arose when I tried to put the radio buttons back into my CTRL - they didn't go back into the panel. Visually they look fine and function normally, but the opener damaged the reeds so badly that they no longer fit within the plate's tolerances, destroying nearly $2 switches. I will be returning this and buying from a more reputable seller here at Revain or elsewhere. Aside from the main issues, the build quality was decent for the price. If it works properly, this would be a great cheap switch for someone like me just getting into Keeb modding.
