You can zoom in images with mouse wheel up or down without downloading any third party library. And there's no need of flash plugin for this purpose which makes it stand out among others available options (I have tried several). Not much that I dislike about photoswipe other then some minor UI design issues from initial release. Just use it for your product! Perfect image/image carousel with browser level scaling option built into it - all you really require :) It allows easy implementation for website owners who don't want their visitors having to download anything else before they start reading content displayed through those elements like photo galleries etc. It's fast and easy to use.
