Review on 🏍️ CB4 Black Throttle Mounted Motorcycle Cruise Assist by Crampbuster by Randy Holt

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Essential for frequent riders

To be honest I didn't expect this thing to be this good but after spending a few weeks on the bike I don't know how I lived without it . I have two Harleys, a 2014 Vrod and an Ultra, and was initially a little hesitant about which size to go with as my cranks seemed to be right in between the size difference between the CB2 and CB4. Vrod is 1 3/8 and Ultra is closer to 1 1/2 and I wanted one that would fit any bike. The CB4 proved to be a perfect fit. The Vrod grips are a combination of metal and rubber so I used the rubber boot that came with them and the Ultra grips have more of a rubbery texture so this wasn't necessary. That takes some getting used to. You should play with this in your driveway before hitting the freeway to make sure it's set correctly. It spins freely when you twist it up (clockwise) so it can be rotated sideways, but it shrinks in grip and stays in place when you push it down. To be honest I didn't think I'd need it for the Ultra as it has cruise control, but the Crampbuster is good for city driving too. It definitely eases your grip and allows you to twist the throttle without "pushing" the grip. If only they could come up with something for my clutch hand!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Almost never
