I recently purchased the Skechers Kids Boys Supreme-River Blast Sandal in Chocolate for my 5 year old son and I have to say I'm impressed. The stylish design with chocolate brown color and bright yellow accents caught my eye, but what really grabbed me was the sneaker/sandal hybrid construction. Heeled sandals are perfect for boys who love to run and play but need the protection and support of a running shoe. The closed design protects his little toes, while the integrated ventilation keeps his feet cool on hot summer days. The fit is true to size and the velcro closure makes it easy for my son to put the clothes on and off himself. The outsole is strong yet flexible, allowing you to move freely without restriction. The only reason I'm giving these sandal shoes four stars instead of five is because the sizing is a bit small. If your child has a wider foot, you may need to go up a size or consider a different style. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would recommend the Skechers Kids Boys Supreme River Blast sandal sneaker to any parent looking for stylish and functional sandals for their active kids.
