Why can I give this item all five stars but give it a total of three stars? My disappointment isn't related to the product... However, it comes from the fact that the item is a plastic bottle filled with liquid contents that comes in a padded envelope! As you might have guessed, these two concepts cannot be combined! From the moment I picked up the bag, liquid started dripping onto the porch... Enough to form blisters! I think common sense dictates that an item of this nature needs more than a plastic wrap in a padded envelope to protect it. One star deducted for that. And of course, getting things from point A to point B can be difficult. Most of the time they get to me unscathed! Also watch out! The photo and description show the pump on the bottle. However, it doesn't come with one! It has a hinged lid and it makes a difference whether I choose or not. Bathing your newborn... You need hands-free access to safely hold your baby and reach for soap. I'm deducting another star for that. I realize this won't be a problem for some, but for those who need one-handed access... Be sure to take note! The product itself is a true blue J/J and they have mastered the art of what children need. ! I have 100% confidence in the honesty of their products. TBH, soap can dry out a newborn's skin a bit, but if used with J/J lotion afterwards, it's not a problem. no tears - best thing I have ever used (I volunteer to host drug addicted children in our home. So far I have detoxed more than 75 newborns who come for 30-60 days until we can help them get back together without drugs - ) Hands down, Johnson's is my number one choice! It gives me peace of mind for a little human who has been through so much...to soothe and cleanse you with such a quality product. It also helps them smell delicious! A smell known around the world in my book. In general, this requires more attention to the way the photo is delivered and corrected. Otherwise, this is a solid product for any home with a young child. I hope this information helps you make a decision... Let me know!
