This fan was purchased to replace an old fan that no longer works in the den. The design of this fan is sleek and modern, which is exactly what I'm looking for. The price is good too. I had some trouble ordering the bottom bar, thank goodness the Q&A section, I think someone else had the same trouble. The fan and rod arrived at the same time, I only ordered a 24" rod but the box was incredibly large for a small rod, glad I didn't pay for shipping. Installation was easy, but prepare for a lot of reading! The fan came with wiring that was too long, but I believe it is designed for the longer lower rods. We cut the wires just long enough to connect everything and they fit snugly in the canopy. It was easy to set up Alexa and get the app working, but when I tried to upload a fan picture to the app, it got stuck on my iPhone. I restarted the app and re-attached the image to create my fan and it worked. The app is very easy to use (so far I've only used the basic functions), there is a little lag on the wifi side, but it's not that bad, you have to wait a bit. Overall, the fan is very quiet and looks great in the cave. We love it!
