Review on WD 1TB My Passport Portable External Hard Drive - USB 3.0 - White (WDBYNN0010BWT-WESN) by Bennie Boss

ATTENTION MACBOOK PRO USERS. I was NOT able to reformat this drive to work on a Sierra system. Okay, go to "Disk Utilities" to complete this task on Mac. Unfortunately, once you switch drives, it becomes completely unreadable on your Mac (which is CRAZY because the 2TB I just ordered does NOT cause this problem, only the 1TB hard drive). I ordered THREE of the 1TB drives and I know how to format the drive (thanks a lot LOL) and ALL three drives gave me the same error. It says it can't complete the task, then it doesn't let me do anything else with the disk. And I'm tired of disconnecting and trying the task again, but the Mac can't open the drive (even though it shows up on the desktop). I'm sick. Erase the hard drive. Check. Partition the hard drive. Check. Drive repair. Check. Use Western Digital software. Check. All of this didn't work and I tortured them in a different order on THREE separate disks (all 1TB each). And since I'm lucky enough to have a Windows PC, I got tired of converting it back to Windows and that didn't work either. Eventually I returned all THREE drives leaving a 2TB that could format AND work on my MacBook Pro. . I have no idea what's going on with 1TB. Hope that helps :)
