As many other reviews say I was concerned at first that I didn't get all the slides but after looking at more I found that some of them were just glued together. I thought I was missing 5 different slides but found that they were all taped to others. Rub the foil between your fingers just enough and they separate. As for usage, there's definitely a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, they're awesome and so much fun. I use Beetles brand gel sheet glue and it works great with them. Surprisingly, I find full drawings like galaxies easier to use than simple scattered drawings like flowers. Some flowers just don't want to be completely repotted. Overall I am very satisfied and plan to order more sets for my friends. (I haven't tried water transfers, but they look and feel the same as others, so I'm sure they're good too.)
