Very good bed! bought to the nursery

natural colors. I have pine floors in my house that are knotty and they go together perfectly! On stock photos, of course, looks much brighter than in real life. I made the bed myself. It was easy to assemble. My daughter slept in it for a few months, she's not even two weeks old and she's still in it. It was very easy to assemble and I like that it can swing. It calmed her down when I first got it. I've since put the bikes on the crib and it's very sturdy. The two wheels are lockable, so you don't have to worry about the cot sliding around. However, it is nice to be able to roll the crib from the foot of the bed to the edge of the bed so I can watch her sleep. The only criticism is that the wood is very soft. You have to adjust the height as you grow and each time I managed to scratch the tree very badly. The crib requires four pieces that you can move up and down, and each time you move it you get scratches on the wood. I take very good care of my belongings and try to be discreet, but there really is no other way. I will say the built in teether above the railing is brilliant! My daughter has managed to chew her way through another crib to the point where she looks like she's been given an errand boy. The so-called mattress is really useless. I ended up buying the Dream On Me 3 inch cot transfer mattress, it's not the best in the range but works well. I added memory foam on top to ensure it stays secure under her sheets. She seems very comfortable sleeping and says it will hold up to 50 pounds. I think she will outgrow the weight with age but it's perfect for what I need. It's not too big and not small and although it stands in my bedroom it doesn't take up much space I would recommend this crib if you're looking for something portable and well made, even in a soft wood.
