Great second cot, 6 months or less cot or occasional use

Definitely recommend if you need it in addition to a full size cot. This is a great crib for a baby 6 months old and under or for a short nap for an older baby. I added a Kolcraft Cozy, Lily Soft Portable Crib Mattress to make it a more comfortable sleeping surface. I bought it to have a baby in my room next to me when she was little. This was a great addition to my bedroom as it matched my bedroom furniture. I also liked that it can be rocked for the kind of movement a baby often needs to get…

Standard beds are a waste of space!

WHY didn't I know about mini beds when I had my first? Here I am, four children, and I have just *now* found a wonderfully handy invention called a "mini crib". ." I remember setting up a crib or our first baby in our living room and almost swearing as I did so, only to find that standard beds don't fit through doors. Yes, experienced parents would say, but how would we know? Anyhow, as some standard cribs always require assembly, I can say that one of the first positive impressions of THIS…

If only it were in a darker espresso. Sticker removal takes 3 minutes

Was looking for an alternative to bedding as my baby will soon be up and out of them right away. I was happy to know that this is a mini crib that he can fit in for quite a while and it's amazing! If only I had found this before we bought a Jolly Jumper brand rocker for a low quality Badger Basket Moses basket that a 98th percentile kid outgrew way too quickly. This crib is great, the included mattress is more like a thin 1" super soft playground mattress (playground sheets will do). To do…

Very good bed! bought to the nursery

natural colors. I have pine floors in my house that are knotty and they go together perfectly! On stock photos, of course, looks much brighter than in real life. I made the bed myself. It was easy to assemble. My daughter slept in it for a few months, she's not even two weeks old and she's still in it. It was very easy to assemble and I like that it can swing. It calmed her down when I first got it. I've since put the bikes on the crib and it's very sturdy. The two wheels are lockable, so you…

Fixing some issues would make this crib better.

First of all, you need to buy a mattress for this crib, because a 1 inch "pillow" is not enough. We bought this crib because of the swing function. Now to my questions: The mechanism that allows you to lock it in a fixed mode is just a simple metal bracket held in place by a Phillips head screw in the wood. This mechanism should have a machined screw in the insert and a pressure washer so you can flip it up and down without turning the screw (and if you end up tightening it over and over again…

Nice bed! the best for baby and toddler beds

I just got this and it's easy to put together compared to large cribs. My eldest son will be 2 when his little brother is born so we chose this smaller, cheaper (but cherry color matching) crib as I love that it can move between rooms and rocks. As soon as the child grows up, we will move it to a large bed, because by then my eldest son should already be in a large bed. It looks great and the rocking function is neat. One thing I noticed when I received it is that it comes with a thin mattress…

Rocks Too Much

After trying the carrycot and bunk bed play area that my baby hates I decided he needed something with an actual mattress which is sold separately. I was really excited about this particular mini crib because of the rocking feature. My baby usually wakes up the second we put him to bed so I thought the rocking function would be a big help. And I was right; However, the crib rocks too much. When my son lifts his legs in the air the crib swings out so far that he rolls onto his side and I'm…

UPDATE 2013: Thank goodness we finally bought this!

****UPDATE**** 01/24/2013: - Our daughter is 13 months old and still fits perfectly! She's in the 50th percentile at 20.5 pounds. and the 75th percentile for a height of 30.25 inches. She can roll over (moves a lot while sleeping) and is not limited in size. In fact, we roll light blankets around the perimeter so that it does not touch anything when rolled and has enough space. We set it to the second height setting from the bottom (the bottom one hurts too much on my aching back to get in and…
