Review on ☕️ Espresso Rocking Crib: DaVinci Alpha Mini with Removable Wheels, Greenguard Gold Certification by Christine Marquez

Great second cot, 6 months or less cot or occasional use

Definitely recommend if you need it in addition to a full size cot. This is a great crib for a baby 6 months old and under or for a short nap for an older baby. I added a Kolcraft Cozy, Lily Soft Portable Crib Mattress to make it a more comfortable sleeping surface. I bought it to have a baby in my room next to me when she was little. This was a great addition to my bedroom as it matched my bedroom furniture. I also liked that it can be rocked for the kind of movement a baby often needs to get to sleep. Little did I know that we would decide to move when my daughter was 2 months old and we would have to use this bed in shared accommodation until she was 7.5 months old. After about 6 months she started to move around quite a bit in this 'mini crib' and with the recommended NO bumper she would often put her arms and legs through the bars getting stuck and waking up screaming for help to get out . from the clutches of the manger. If I had to do it all over again I would probably make a mini mesh bumper to fit this crib and keep her arms and legs from going through. Now that she is older (over 2 years) if I had to use her I would probably just make an actual bumper pillow to put her in as she likes to rest her head in the corner of the crib. Now that we're using her real bedroom furniture again, putting her away is easy. We kept the box and only had to undo a few screws to fit the parts into the box and store them in the closet. Definitely recommend if you need it other than buying a full size cot.
