This is a nice wool scarf . The pictures don't do it justice. I have several other Lignexus scarves and have been very happy with the quality of the wool as well as the construction and this one is no exception. I ordered the red and gray version, a very nice combination. Gray variegated with medium to light shades in the pattern. Red is a muted shade, like brick red (doesn't sound nice, but it's true). The weave of the wool transforms the diagonal stripes into a houndstooth pattern, while the alternating stripes appear to run in opposite directions. You can verify this by enlarging the images in the product description, but it's much more interesting in person. The light reflects differently on the alternating stripes, adding beauty and complexity to the design. The scarf is very large, so I have enough length to wrap it around my neck leaving the ends loose, or to tie it in different ways. The fringes all around set a nice accent and differ from all my other scarves. The scarf is light and airy and yet so warm. Excellent quality wool, does not sting at all. I know I'll be wearing this a lot this fall and winter. The current price of $28.99 is more than reasonable for this gorgeous, well-made scarf.
