Great case to protect against scrapes and minor drops

Got my iPhone 7+ few days ago and bought this case. It may not be the best case for rough/hard handling and drop protection (although I haven't and hope not to fully test it). Function: The most important part of a case is to prevent contact between phone surfaces and the environment. The bumper protrudes approx. 1 mm over the front glass and approx. 0.5 mm over the transparent plastic back. I can comfortably place my phone on any surface without worrying about scratching it. The camera sits flush with the plastic back, and with the bumper's raised edge along the back, there shouldn't be a problem mounting it (unless it's on a gravel or sand table, but oh my, why would you want to do ?). The bumper looks like a tough, soft, rubbery plastic that feels and looks good, but I doubt it will adequately cushion a bad fall from a height. If you take good care of your electronics, minor falls and bumps shouldn't be a problem. Appearance: The phone looks great in it. It barely adds width to the phone (which is good because it's already substantial!), maybe 1.5-2mm on all sides. All holes and buttons are aligned and easy to use (a big plus for a new case right after the phone's release). The clear plastic back is beautiful and makes my matte black phone look really great. The black bumper complements the phone very well.
