Bought this to power the sidereal drive on my telescope. The 12 volt output seems to be plenty for this activity. The drive is low draw but we use it for hours so the battery has to be long lasting. This one seems to be working well. I've used it for four hours straight a couple of times and it still had charge remaining. I wish the charger wasn't proprietary because I'll probably lose it. Good product.

This is my second purchase of this battery for use on my bicycle. First battery lasted almost five months. This one died in less than three. No longer accepts a charge. With limited use, I only had to charge it once a week. It did not get wet. Accounting for about ten charge cycles before it would no longer take a charge. Very disappointed. Not recommended.

I purchased the TalenCell to use it's 5v USB capabilities to provide portable power for my various Arduino and ESP8266 projects. Been running a mini fan for camping trip for 7 hours straight and it still shows only a 20% drain. Powers my portable record player on USB mode which uses barely any power and the battery hasn't shut down at all while playing music because it uses an on-off switch! Nice little battery that works well with field recorders, powered pre-amps where you need to limit possibilities of ground loop interference and DSLR cameras via dummy battery in video mode. It's small enough to attach to most rig setups and provides USB 5 volt and 12 volt outputs. Highly recommend over using monster Auto Bauer rig batteries and others where weight and size are a concern, not to mention the price.

Very nice, compact, and versatile. I got the model with the USB port - don’t know why you would get the one without it, no penalty but a couple dollars. I will mostly use the 12v port. It does charge with the power switch off. One concern is the wall charger: It has a status light charging/done. Not sure if you can use a generic PS if you loose it - possible cook the battery/fire?

Great little UPS for USB security camera (Wyze). It keeps running uninterrupted in the event of a power outage or brownout/blackout.The one flaw is that if the batteries on the battery bank are depleted, the charger doesn't provide enough current to recharge the device and power the camera at the same time. You have to wait until the batteries are mostly or fully charged before you can plug the camera back in and expect it to stay on.

I bought it mainly due to the 12V output it comes with. Used it to replace my dead Nickel-metal hydride batteries in my rechargeable electrux vacuum cleaner which accepts 12v without heavy moddings.There is one thing that I would love to know before hand is it has 5A cut-off protection circuit in it. so under heavy load, the cleaner sometimes draw more than 5A and it just turned itself off.Maybe I will buy another one and stick it in parallel with the current one.

This is a slick little unit. I used it to convert an old boombox from 6 D-cell batteries to a rechargeable battery pack. Size is perfect, fits right into the existing battery compartment. I haven't done any deep discharge and recharge cycles yet, but it does a great job powering the unit. I also really like the 5v USB output as that will be wired to my upcoming Bluetooth conversion.

The battery is very good and definitely surprised me. I initially used it to run a Lepy LP-2020A class D amp for a Bluetooth speaker project. I bought the power cell because the little QRP radio I bought an Ebay did not have an internal battery. It has a place inside the case to install one but may not have had one due to airline shipping rules that prohibit Lithium Ion batteries on aircraft. Not sure on this. Pros: Excellent battery that works exactly as expected. I am using it to power a small robot, and the 5v USB and 12v DC connection is perfect for powering a raspberry pi along with higher voltage motors.Cons: Very slow charging time. I tried one of these on my front yard cam in Mexico and due to a monsoon last night, the power was out and on etc etc. Various lengths of time but my camera never missed a beat thanks to this device. I just sent one to two of my sons as a gift and I will be buying 6 more.

I purchased this item to power a 7" LCD field monitor, and have been very happy with it so far. In addition to the 12v power I also use the USB connector to charge my phone, camera and other 5v devices. Definitely worth the money. My only complaint is the surface mounted power switch, which can be accidentally turned on/off while shifting around in a travel bag. A recessed button would be a welcome improvement.

Documentation says not to charge while using but it comes with a splitter?It's rated at 3000mah at 12v so at 5v only it's more like 7000mah i bet.I really only wanted a 5v source so in my case I feel I overpaid.( the 12v barrel jack turned useful for me.)Most portable batteries have a auto off feature and with low current loads they usually turn off. I bought this battery pack to power an LED strip that I installed in my closet. Just flip the switch and the light comes on! The battery life led's on the front let you know when you need to charge. Works just like it I expected. I liked it so well, I bought two more and put LED strips in other closets!
