I purchased the TalenCell to use it's 5v USB capabilities to provide portable power for my various Arduino and ESP8266 projects. I quickly discovered the TalenCell would power itself off after a few minutes when powering my projects. Apparently, the amperage draw for my projects is typically well below 100 mAh and the TalentCell which is typically used to charge cell phone batteries powers itself off thinking the battery is fully charged. To get around this behavior, I added three 1-watt 200 ohm metal film fixed resistors to my project circuits to increase the amperage draw from the TalentCell. Even though that runs the TalentCell battery pack down a bit faster, it no longer powers itself off automatically. They could improve the product by adding a switch that enables/disables the TalentCell automatic shutoff feature so it can be used as a continuous regulated power supply.
