I bought these more for everyday use based on the description which mentions the multi-purpose use of moccasins. I have to say that after receiving them and putting them on they look and feel a lot more like slippers than regular slippers. For that matter, they're good, soft, comfortable and seem well-tailored, but I didn't really need slippers. First, they are a bit thick and therefore warm. Good for cold-weather slippers, but not so good for everyday moccasins because when the weather is cool enough to require warm shoes, they're also often wet or snowy and water-repellent, snow-proof and grippy aren't. For warm weather casual wear, even if you don't mind that they look like slippers, I suspect they're just too hot. However, I think they're great as fall/winter/spring slippers, and they have a hard rubber sole so you can walk outside for a while without your stuff getting soaked or ruined. As for sizing, I took a size 10.5 to 11.5 for me and my feet are either 10.5 or 11 depending on the shoe. They fit me very well but I have a narrower foot which leaves a little room for other sizes. If I wore 11s with a true D width or wider, they would probably be too tight. They're soft and will quickly mold to the shape of your foot, but for a person who needs a tall, wide 11 or larger, they'll likely find them too small.
