Code will not reset Honda P1457
I purchased this Dorman canister as my 2003 Honda Civic has a P1457 check engine light. I replaced that canister and the Dorman purge valve. They will NOT work to reset the P1457 gauge. I've had 2 different mechanics advise me to buy genuine Honda parts or good used parts as those Dorman parts don't work to reset the EVAP code. I learned a valuable lesson. For another $20 I had to buy a Honda OEM Charcoal canister. I would NOT recommend buying if you are looking to reset the P1457 EVAP code.
