Put it in our car drove around the drive about 75 ft long and got out. As I got out of my car I began to stumble and found that I was extremely dizzy. This is a great wool blend blanket, especially for the price point. It does "pill" a bit when you first get it, as any wool blanket will do, but after two rounds in the dryer (no heat) the pills stoped.I've been using this blanket daily for three months now, mostly camping & outside, and it has held up exceptionally well.It does have that slightly scratchy wool feeling on the skin, but personally I don't mind it.

Bought two, one for house and one for Subaru. Always be prepared in the Rockies. Tired of giving gifts that serve no useful purpose other than just being a gift, well this is great solution. The only negative was the smell. It has a chemical odor that my wife can't be around. I left it outside to air it out and soft washed it but it still retains a slight odor.

This thing is f***ing huge! Its a hearty blanket, there is a little bit of weight to it but nothing too noticable if you have a good hiking pack or evenly distribute the weight throughout your pack when you load it up. I got this for use in my teardrop trailer, on top of my sleeping bag. It is thin, but I left it doubled. Of course, it is very bad for dog hair sticking to it, but otherwise, I like it.

I wanted a heavy wool blanket; this fits the bill. However the blanket sheds a lot. So, if you are allergic to wool like me, this is not the product for you. A more expensive wool blanket will not shed like this.

I found myself comparing it to a hand-woven wool blanket I bought once in Colombia, South America. The latter was thicker and bigger, thus kept me warmer. Still, it's a lot better than a synthetic blanket.

Great blanket. It washed well with little shedding. I think it should last many years, Very large, heavy and warm. Plenty of room for two people on the couch.I would buy a second one except. The vertical stripe is very, very muted and looks like a blanket with a red and black stripes rather than plaid. especially in lower light conditions.Still giving it a solid buy as a 4 star, just disappointed it doesn't really look plaid.

These are great blankets, they’re warm, not too scratchy, and they look really nice. They are still a warm blanket, so there is a certain amount of "scratchy” that is going to be there. You also don’t want to throw them in the dryer, because they will "shed" a little bit. Wash them on gentle cycle, and then hang them over a shower curtain to dry for a little bit. It is soft and light for such a warm blanket. The only major down was shedding. I washed in gentle cycle and there was some shedding in the washer itself and more during drying. Basically i found it helpful to use the air fluff option of dryer and run some 4-5 cycles until all sheddings are caught. Eventually it came out neat and smooth. If you like the typical wool GI blanket, you’ll love this one. It has a similar feel and thickness, but is larger and also looks better. I don’t have problems with my feet poking out when I pull it up to cover my shoulders. It’s a little bit rough in texture as one should expect with most wool, but less than is typical. I really like it though.

Very warm and comfortable blanket. Some people complain of an odor. There was a slight odor but smelled more like wool than a chemical, not a deal breaker. I ran it through an "air" only dryer cycle to remove some of the loose material. Have not had it long enough to wash yet. Well worth the price.

Very impressed with this blanket! It's heavy and well made. I've read several of the reviews that say their blanket smells bad -- the one I got has no odor at all.
