It is soft and light for such a warm blanket. The only major down was shedding. I washed in gentle cycle and there was some shedding in the washer itself and more during drying. Basically i found it helpful to use the air fluff option of dryer and run some 4-5 cycles until all sheddings are caught. Eventually it came out neat and smooth. Will update the feedback after a few weeks of use how it goes wit use. For now, it is a 4 star rating that I would give.Update: The shedding is continuous looks like. My daughter started having nasal irritation and allergy so I had to return it back. I still keep the 4 stars because the blanket was soft and didn’t smell like other blankets do.
