Quality looks good but the motor was turning the wrong way. I installed it on my 2000 Kawasaki Bayou 220 and heard it spin freely so I bought a new starter clutch, puller and gaskets thinking that was the problem. won't work because my new starter turns in the wrong direction. The motor should rotate counter-clockwise from the splined output end toward the brushes. If it spins clockwise, remove the 2 screws from the back of the starter and rotate the brush end (the end with the mounting holes) 180 degrees towards the magnets and it will spin in the correct direction. If you separate the body, the brushes will be difficult to pull apart to return to the commutator. So just hold it together and spin the brushes. Let's see if I can return the starter clutch and flywheel puller that I didn't need.
