Review on ✨ ImpressArt - Basic Typewriter Lowercase 3mm Metal Stamp Letter Set for Engraving, Stamping & DIY Handmade Jewelry: Create Stunning Designs! by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent for aluminium, bronze, brass and pennies (nickel/zinc).

So far they have done a great job with aluminum blanks. I hardly have to press at all to get a printout. With that in mind, they also work well with tin with no issues. You really don't need a hard hit. For bronze and brass and coins, I have to hit my 2 pound hammer a little harder, but only lightly. I've tried practicing on 26 gauge steel but to no great extent. However, it was hardware store quality, so it must have been hardened. I have not had the opportunity to test 304 or 316 stainless steel jewelry. I assume it will work but it takes a hard hit and maybe damaging the stamps over time. Generally good stamps and I can tell what is on each one. However, I don't really like the 4 stamps in this set as it's an open style 4 and somewhat reminiscent of Y depending on the metal. I ended up settling on a set of newspapers by simply pulling 4 out of a set that looks more like a triangle. The Newsprint and Bridgette sets go well together. which looks more like a triangle. Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

They're not bad, but they're not great.
