Samsill Classic Collection Executive Presentation 3 Ring Binder Review

Really happy w this binder. I shopped several other places before settling on this binder. Nice feeling exterior but you can tell it is faux leather. I bought a black 2" circle ring and it worked fine and held all my 250 plastic covered pages. Wish they had same binder in a D ring as that type would have helped hold all my pages in a straight line intead of an arch. The clasp is not the smoothest operation mechanically but it works fine. I bought these for some Eagle Scouts to put their letters of commendation in. I put the letters in plastic sleeves, which still fit nicely in the binder, no edges sticking out. The binders have strong secure rings. The binders seemed durable during transport to and from the event. However, I don't know how they will hold up long term since I bought them for other people and won't be able to see any wear and tear.

I was looking for a notebook that had a 3 ring binder that was not very thick or wide. I attend many meetings and conference room table space can be limited. My older notebook was thick and wide and took up a lot of space when I had it open to take notes. I worked around this by leaving it in my office and taking notes on sheets of paper and then trying to remember to put them in my notebook. While these are close to being very nice, there's an issue. The brass metal corners are a nice touch - except most aren't attached at precise angles, making the binders look cheap. Also, they're just flimsy enough that when closed, all the corners don't exactly line up. Wouldn't buy again, but due to the cost per binder will end up using, anyway.

Bought these for my interview. They were very impressed with these binders and they kept them. The leather looked and felt professional, and the metal corners made sure that the binder corners weren't bent even after flying across the country. We have given these to clients for extensive estate planning documents. They are very professional and look great. Can’t say anything about the durability because I haven’t kept one for personal use.

I returned this as the brass hardware on the corners and inside looked very dull and tarnished. The pockets are very thin and feel like they would be easy to tear if used a lot.Otherwise, it was a decent, sturdy binder.

I use this high quality notebook for my travels to areas in North Texas. It houses my counties and notes where I go. With the information I carry around, I had to order a 2 inch binder. I had this same product in a 1 inch binder and it became too small. I am happy with the binder, and it is my second one I purchased. It has a pocket inside for inserts as well. I used my first binder for 4 years, and it is still in good shape.

I created a folder for church choir that I could hold while practicing standing up. We put a vertical hand strap to grasp it with an arthritic hand and two see-through bags for kleenix/cough drops and small pencil.

i needed something that was more of a hard shell style and this worked out perfect. you cant fit normal notebooks in it though because the binder that holds paper is a smaller size and it wont fit, only loose sheets

Very nice binder, I used it for a professional portfolio. It fits protective sheets without having them pop out the sides. Folders inside are a nice touch and the gold accents really make the binder pop
