Review on 🔧 Durock V2 PCB Mount Screw-in Stabilizers: Translucent Smokey Gold Plated Keycap Stabilizers for Mechanical Keyboards (V2 Smokey 60/87 Kit) by Darnell Murphy

They came in Durock packaging so these are Durock v1 stabilizers but I suspect there might be some quality control issues here. All of the 2U stabilizers worked fine after greasing and installing them on my KBD67, but I had the most trouble with the spacebar. When I first lubricated and installed them, I noticed that the spacebar rattled. Thinking it was user error, I took it off, relubricated and reinstalled but noticed the rattle was still there. I decided to test the wire on a flat surface and noticed that the wire was very bent and would wobble on a flat surface. I contacted support and they sent me a replacement very quickly, but I noticed it after installing the replacement. , the same problem remains. I then replaced the spacing stabilizer with another Durock stabilizer that my friend bought from NovelKeys and the rattling was completely gone. Because of this, I am convinced that the quality control issue lies with the Revain batch and not with the stabilizers themselves. Please remember to lay the stabilizers on a flat surface before installation and press on one of the wire ends to check for wobbling. Otherwise the 2U wires worked fine.
