I ground my teeth and ground so hard I woke up with excruciating pain in my jaw and neck and a severe headache. Several friends advised me to try this type of mouthguard. After hours of reading and reviewing I settled on this one as it was in a pretty average price range and had pretty decent reviews. The process of receiving and forming and sending back and then receiving the finished product was surprisingly smooth and easy. However, the guard I received back was much larger, thicker, and bulkier than I expected. I tried wearing it for a few minutes hoping to get used to it enough that I could eventually wear it and sleep through the night. It's been a few months and I've given up and I just can't do it. It may suit some people, but I'm too fat and bulky to sleep in it.
