Very easy to remove the old one and install the new one. Comes with a tool to gently pull out the old one without damaging it. Just lift it up, gently disconnect the 2 wires attached to it and check that there is no corrosion or problems with the wires and just plug in the new one and slide it in place. Works great so far but just installed yesterday so 🤞 it took care of my problem. The only reason I replaced it was because the drive window knob was short or something so I had to play with it and move it properly to get it back up and one day I pulled it back with too much force and broke it the button. I was able to reattach the button, but it was difficult at times to get it to cooperate. Hope this helps someone.
