MAGICAL AF: Healthcare

People. I recently had foot surgery where the doctor cut off my old scar and I was keen to keep an eye out for what's new coming out (the first time was 10 years ago). The scar is a decent length (about 5 inches long) and while it was a bit smaller and more easy to care for than the previous one, I wanted to do my best to care for it. I've used creams and everything and found them to be fine, but I wanted the best results. After some research, mentions kept popping up of silicone scar plates, but nothing special. Well I used creams and after stretching my toes I saw that part of my scar became more visible due to the stretching of the skin. So I bit the bullet and took her in my hands. I really wasn't sure what to expect. My. Good. I've been wearing them for about 24 hours (they are waterproof in the shower so can wear them longer) and I swear to you - part of my scar has almost disappeared and the rest is flatter, softer and has lost any pink/redness. My jaw dropped and I sat there for a good 5 minutes staring at my scar in amazement. It was comfortable too - I barely remembered wearing it. No irritation or sensitivity to it. He's stayed great. I washed them and let them dry overnight and they became tacky again because they can be reused (just mild soap and water - easy care!). I can't believe I haven't heard more people discussing this! It was 1000% worth it and I've only used it once so far. I'll update after extended use if anything changes but oh my god. If you're on the fence, do it!
