Put "Dragon Glassware Leaf Decanter, lead-free crystal clear glass, with two 7-ounce glasses and coasters" at the top of your short list of things you don't need at all, but do because they're cool. Whether you place this decanter on the bar, on a cabinet full of albums or CDs, or on a table on the porch, it will create a double impact and invite comments and questions. The fact that it's a transparent carafe makes it a chameleon, meaning it's simply the color of its contents. It comes with an extra stopper and a small funnel for filling and refilling. Cleaning should be a matter of soap and water and may require soaking. But at the risk of being a skunk at a picnic, there are a few details that could and should be a little better given the price. First, for a 7oz goggle, the inserts could have been deeper to keep the goggles from slipping when the stand is pressed. Second, the stoppers (thanks again for the extra one) are white with a copper/gold tip. That's just wrong and contradicts the espresso color stand. In this case, it is preferable to use a black cork. Finally, and this is the worst issue, the two screws on the bottom of the stand that hold the vertical pieces of wood are not recessed or flush. One is used at an angle, the other off-center. This means that the screw heads will scratch wooden surfaces. Furthermore, this support weakly indicates that quality control could and should have been better. The novelty and coolness factor outweighs these issues, but as a reviewer, it's my responsibility to try to provide an honest review.
