I've made about 200 CDs with the Signature Z1. The results are exactly as promised. Yes you can see pixels at 200dpi but you have to look carefully. Compared to commercial CD duplication, I've already got my money back. No problem with ink sticking to thermal CD blanks. Good blanks have a reject rate of less than 5%, and that's picky. Pros: The Primera Z1 delivers excellent and reliable printing directly onto the surface of a standard CD or DVD. This works much better with text printing than with any graphic printing. The thermal nature of the printer prevents "rubbing" or smearing even immediately after printing. I bought this printer and was initially happy that I no longer had to put paper labels on CDs. I've printed about a dozen discs with the Z1 so I feel entitled to give a small review. First let me say that for the price this little disk printer does a great job.
