I've made about 200 CDs with the Signature Z1. The results are exactly as promised. Yes you can see pixels at 200dpi but you have to look carefully. Compared to commercial CD duplication, I've already got my money back. No problem with ink sticking to thermal CD blanks. Good blanks have a reject rate of less than 5%, and that's picky. It even prints cheaper forms with minor erasure problems. The Signature Z1 is nominally a mono color printer, but I've made CDs with the logo field red and the other three fields black. Requires two passes through the printer. The only point of criticism is that the hub grabber does not always want to release the CD. I found a painless workaround: place a blank CD on top of the unsealed CD to push back the pins, then take them off together. Finally there is a use for the clear CDs at the top and bottom of each spindle!
