It takes a lot of force to actually open and secure the tie clip, but once it clicks it stays there. So I guess that's good and bad?

Beautiful tie clips at a great price. It's worth noting that the photo shows two clips so you can see the front and back, but you only get one clip with the storage box.

The tie clip works great and looks good, can be a bit stiff at first and difficult to fit on thinner ties. Otherwise it's a great product at a good price.

It looks very nice, but it's so tight that I can't clip it to my tie and shirt at the same time without feeling like I'd damage my clothes if I put it on. Maybe I could make it workable if I took a pair of pliers and bent it but I was disappointed and couldn't return it so it turned out to be a waste of money. Get that with the lever, it's a lot easier to put on. It's a shame because it looks really nice.

Bought this to keep my tie in place while delivering the mail. It looks sharp and holds up well enough! The matte finish is easily marred by scratches, but people have to be uncomfortably close to notice.

My son liked it. He said it looks like his dream gun, a Desert Eagle .50 caliber. I have no idea what it is, but it makes a great gift for gun lovers.

VERY VERY VERY STRONG clip I almost broke my nail trying to attach it to my tie and shirt. I don't know why it happened to me :(

Bought as a Christmas present, my son loves this tie clip. An email about wearing a tie clip was also very helpful I get a ton of compliments on this, very cool looking, works best for skinny ties, the clip isn't great for wider ties!

This is a beautiful tie clip that looks great on a regular width tie. Not intended for tight ties. Well made, no defects. It also came in a nice box. I would recommend this tie clip, especially considering the relatively reasonable price.

It is great. I ordered these for the groom at my wedding. They came in a nice gift box. I wanted a modern minimalist look and they definitely fit the bill. When ordering I was interested in the quality because sometimes the matte finish is not the best. It didn't disappoint; The ending was exactly what I was looking for. I like this tie, it looks high quality, doesn't scratch or leave marks on the tie. I originally ordered the wrong size (1.9″) for my skinny tie and customer service quickly corrected this for me by sending me the correct 1.5″ tie to match the tie. Great quality and great customer service, what more could you want?

Looks good but too tight. I don't understand how a tie can be fastened and removed so tightly without damaging the tie. I would never find out with a decent tie, that's for sure. This clip sits deep in my top drawer and will most likely never see the light of day again. Not recommended.

This tie clip is great for large ties; However, if your tie is thinner than others, this clasp may be slightly larger. That's my review.

This tie rod is exactly what I was looking for - thoughtful design, simplicity and cleanliness. I also appreciate that the company contacted me after delivery and explained their story/mission. They have indicated that they endorse their products; which I think demonstrates more honesty in a world where mass 'materials' are sold for little in return.

Works very well! Just bend it a little so it can be used as it is very tight. You can always apply pressure near the bend to pull it back if you overdo it. Stayed in place all day, every day!

I wanted to correct my previous review. I adjusted the tie (with a lot of effort) and it stretched. I didn't stretch it quite right but I am using it now and I am 70% satisfied with my purchase. The tie is so tight that it is almost impossible to tie a tie to my shirt. I was afraid the tie bar would damage both the shirt and tie. The trim of the bar tie is attractive.
