I'm a women's size 14. I still have a size XL Columbia coat that I really like. I ordered this in size XL and it is larger than my other coat, same brand but different style. I am considering ordering an L here, trying both and then sending them back. Size XL is loose even over a thick sweatshirt so L might be better for me in this particular style. I love the button accents, they are cute. Columbia's all-round heating technology is great, retains heat without being thick and bulky. Overall, the Columbia brand gives the impression of reliable and high-quality outerwear.
