Waterproof Hooded Trench Coat For Women: The BGSD Leah Mid-Length Coat Review

I bought the coat in a large based on their size chart, but this coat swallows me. My bust is a 39.5 and the BGSD size chart reflects that I would need a Large (38.5-40in), but obviously the chart is off. It's a lovely item; the stitching and the buttons, and it's very stylish, but I wish I had gotten the medium. Of course it's out of stock so I can't exchange it for a smaller size, but it's such a beautiful trench that I will just pay more money to have it altered.

It's a beautiful coat, but runs small in the shoulders. Everywhere else it fit fine. I am returning it. If I buy it big enough for my shoulders it will be too large else where. Also not as long as pictured, found I'd like it to have been longer.

I really like this trench jacket. The color is just like the picture and it is made well. It is versatile enough to wear it with jeans, leggings, or slacks. I’m glad I purchased it.

I absolutely love this jacket. It is perfect! I am 5 foot 9 169 lb. I wear between a size 10 and 12 Jean , and a large t-shirt. This fits a little loose. Which gives perfect room for a hoodie in the winter or chilly fall days. Is definitely not a coat made for winter but I absolutely love it a hundred percent it has nice long sleeves and the perfect look I was wanting

Great trench coat. I ordered the small. I’m 5’2” and 115 pounds and it fits exactly as it should. It had enough room for me to layer clothes underneath it. The pockets are deep and close with a button, which I really liked. Overall, this is a great jacket for the money.

I love this jacket! I am 5' 6" and 130lb, I ordered the XS and it fits well as I like things to be more form-fitting. I love having this jacket to dress up jeans with a pair of cute boots. The material is nice and doesn't attract lint, it feels well made and heavier than I expected based on the price. I definitely recommend this jacket (you may want to size down considering I'm not typically an XS).

I really like this jacket, although I wish the material was a little thicker. Like the other reviews, it does run a bit big, which could be a good thing. I purchased a small and there is more than enough room for bulky sweaters when I wear them with this jacket.

I read the reviews and I ordered up since I'm 5'5" with a 38F chest and 33" waist. While the coat closes over my chest, the armpits are about two inches away from where my arm meets my shoulder. Its a lovely color and the lining was great, but its definitely hit or miss on the sizing.

I ordered this hooded jacket for my 24 year old daughter, and it fits her perfect! I took my time and read many of the reviews, which really helped me in selecting the right size. The quality of the jacket is really nice!

The jacket is beautiful and I like that I can fit large sweaters underneath if needed but wish the cut was a little more tailored.

This coat is very well made. The hood is detachable which makes this coat versatile. There are really a lot of buttons so it will keep out the wind & rain if you get caught in bad weather. The coat is double-breasted.

This jacket is absolutely beautiful! It fit perfectly and is very comfortable. I bought the blue one and I am going to purchase another color.

I like the weight (not too heavy or too light). The look is very sophisticated. I can wear it to work or with a pair of jeans. Great value for the price.

It's a really pretty coat. I purchase a large. I'm 175lbs 4'11 and it fits well. I can even wear a Columbia flees sweater underneath it. Quality is nice and good for spring and fall season. It has a good hood for rainy days.

I received my trench several days earlier than expected. I was so excited to try it on! It fits perfect! Very well made product.

It takes forever to button up because it's got way too many inside and outside buttons and the buckles have very long belting on the sleeves and waist. It's a pretty coat, but annoying to wear.

The medium ran a little large, but I expect this is to allow for multiple layers to be worn under it. The quality was surprisingly good overall, although one button inside the pocket was not sewn on well and ended up falling off. I bought this before a November trip to Europe, where I wanted to look good but still keep warm and dry. I wore a sweater underneath, a hat and scarf, and was very warm the whole time. It didn't rain much, but when it did, the coat stayed nice and dry inside. I expect…
