The LEDs and the fan turn on at the same time.
One of these has been running non-stop since I bought it on the 4th September to keep my Eero Pro router cool. RGBs turn on with the fan and I haven't found a way to turn them off. If the router is standing on the rubber feet of the fan, the emitted light is not disturbing. Still runs quiet.
